JMC Fabrication builds custom tanks in the shop, not on site: day tanks, sumps, hoppers, process and rinse tanks, skid-mounted fuel tanks, and fuel and water tanks for workboats and vessels. Every tank is built to your drawing or detailed in-house, in carbon steel, stainless, or aluminum, and delivered ready to set from our 50,000 sq ft shop in Pascagoula, MS.

JMC fabricates atmospheric, non-pressure tanks and containment for industrial, commercial, and marine customers:

• Day tanks and fuel tanks for generators, pumps, and equipment skids
• Sumps, pits, and collection tanks
• Hoppers, bins, and chutes for bulk material handling
• Process, rinse, and wash tanks for industrial and plant use
• Marine fuel, water, and holding tanks for workboats and vessels

A tank is more than a box that holds liquid. JMC details and builds the parts that decide whether it works in service:

• Nozzles, couplings, and flanged connections located to match your piping
• Manways, inspection hatches, and access covers
• Internal baffles for marine tanks and anything that moves
• Lifting lugs, skids, legs, and saddles sized to the full weight
• Level gauge, vent, overflow, and drain connections
• Coating, lining, or galvanizing prep to match the service

Building a tank in the shop means welding in a controlled environment, with fit-up and leak testing done before it ships, not on a slab. Tanks that sit on a pump or generator skid can be built together with the skid, so connections line up and the whole assembly sets in one lift. In-house engineering handles shop drawings when you have a sketch or a spec but not a fabrication drawing.

JMC's tank work is shop-built atmospheric tanks. ASME code-stamped pressure vessels and large field-erected storage tanks built to API 650 are specialty work that needs certification and field crews JMC doesn't provide. If your project needs one of those, we'll tell you up front.
